📋 Paste GEDmatch Export Text for GEDCOMs

To export from GEDmatch:
1. Run One-To-Many — Full Version (Tier 1)
2. Select all matches with GEDCOMs
3. Click Visualization Options
4. Go to the GEDCOM tab
5. Click Find Matching GEDCOMs (anc), then click POST TO ANC
6. Copy and paste the results table below, or upload the file

📥 How to Export FTDNA Trees

1. Go to DNAGedcom and log in to your kit
2. Click GatherFamilyTreeDNA
3. In the Select which information to gather section, toggle on Trees
4. Click Gather Data
5. Click Run Report
6. Drag the generated CSV file here, or click the drop zone to browse

📥 How to Export from One2Tree

1. Log in to your One2Tree account and make sure the Chrome extension is installed
2. Load a tree on Ancestry, MyHeritage, or FTDNA
3. Click the extension button and choose your max number of generations
4. Click Go!
5. When the list appears, click Save List as CSV and leave the default options as is
6. Drag the generated CSV file here, or click the drop zone to browse

🧾 Paste GEDmatch One-to-Many Match Rows

Classic (Tier 1): Run One-To-Many — Full Version (Tier 1), copy and paste the full match list
Pro: Run One-to-Many Segment-Based, select all rows and paste — including any header/navigation text, TreeScope will filter it out automatically

Imported fields: Total cM, Largest segment, Total X-DNA, Largest X segment, mt haplogroup, and Y haplogroup.

🧾 Paste FTDNA Family Finder Match Table

1. Go to Family Finder Matches
2. Choose Table View
3. Copy and paste the full Family Finder matches table text

Imported fields: Shared DNA, Longest Block, X Match, mt Haplog, and Y Haplog.

📋 Audit Trail

A time-stamped log of research decisions in this session — MRCA confirmations, kit links, status and side changes, imports, and exports. It's saved with your session and travels inside your JSON backups, so the record of how you reached a conclusion stays with the data.

1. Go to the person's profile on WikiTree.com
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to their name at the top of the page
3. Choose Compact Tree from the menu
4. Select all the text on that page (Ctrl+A / Cmd+A) and copy it
5. Paste below — TreeScope will build the tree automatically

📋 Terms of Use & Privacy

Privacy
TreeScope processes all data locally in your browser. No genealogical data, DNA match information, or personal information is transmitted to or stored on any server. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Data
All imported kits, individuals, notes, and results exist only in your current browser session. Closing the tab clears all data unless you have exported a JSON backup.

TreeScope is provided for personal genealogical research purposes. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights to any data you import.
